About the event

Join us for a special afternoon with Christine Young of Hearth and Seoul Herbal Shop as we go through the three major regions that produce tea in Korea. From the wild tea hills in Mt. Jirisan to the volcanic island of Jeju, find out what makes each tea unique and learn a little history behind tea culture in Korea.
This is also a great class for beginners as we'll talk about steep times, temperature, and find out what tastes you prefer.
Christine has visited all of the farms where she sources her teas in Korea and has connected with small producers to CEOs of family owned farms. With the geographical location of S. Korea, the teas have a unique taste and quality. We'll even try some Korean Matcha ("Malcha") and talk about different types of tea ceremony and representations.
This is a great prerequisite class for our future Dado Korean…
