Join us for an evening of poetry, a ritual, and guided poetry journaling. In this presence practice, local poet and herbalist Chaya Merage will share rituals from her new poetry book "Time Eternal & Other Seasons" while we sip a brew or two paired with poems from her book, then be guided to write.

About the event
Let your cup of tea teach you poetry. Sit in ritual with your cup in guided sensory meditation and receive poetic wisdom from the being of tea. In this presence practice, local poet and herbalist Chaya Merage will share rituals from her new poetry book “Time Eternal & Other Seasons” while we sip a brew or two paired with poems from her book. She will share these poems and her tea and poetry process, then will guide you to sit with your tea and create poetry from your experience. Bring a journal, a pen, and an open mind.
Chaya ("HI-yah") Merage is an herbalist, ritualist, writer. She has been writing poetry since childhood. She lives as best she can in rhythm with our natural world and in honor of her cycle in a home in Colorado with a little garden, two wise cats, and a loving community.
