Mr. Park's Hong Cha Black Tea
Mr. Park's black tea is wild tea grown on Mt. Jirisan in the southern region of South Korea. He hand picks, steams, roasts, and hand rolls his teas straight from his farm with a cafe attached to this processing room. I sat down and tried this tea and immediately fell in love. It's so smooth, has a slight sweetness, light, and can be steeped multiple times.
I like to add yuzu peels on the 2nd or 3rd steep. This also makes for a great tea martini! Ice, Black Tea, Lemon simple syrup, give it a shake. Serve in a special glass and take a sip.
Steeping Temperature: 200F
Steeping Time: 1 minute on the first steep. Steep up to 2-3 times for up to 2 minutes. Stays relatively smooth. The hand rollin gproccess removes the tannins and stays excellent.
1 oz bag.
